Below are frequently asked questions and our policies. Please review before booking your stay.

What time is Check-In?

Regular check-in time at Vacay in Pray rentals is any time after 4PM Mountain Standard Time.  Earlier access to your room may become available based upon previous guests. If you find yourself in Livingston prior to your check-in time, we are happy to provide recommendations for local sights and shops and a great place to grab lunch.  

Check out time is at 11 AM, Mountain Standard Time.  Based upon our occupancy load and incoming guests, we will try to accommodate late check out requests. Vacay in Pray has limited staff, so with new guests arriving just a few hours after other guests have just departed, we are not always able to comply.

Is there a fire pit? Can we have a fire? 

No. Due to the windy nature of Paradise Valley, and the amount of dry grass nearby, bonfires are not permitted. 

Do we really need bear spray for hiking nearby? 

Absolutely. Bear spray can be purchased at the Emigrant General Store. 

Where can we get groceries?

The closest store is the Emigrant General Store. You can pick up necessities, and a decent selection of food/drinks. Albertson’s is the closest grocery store, located 20 minutes away in Livingston

Is smoking allowed?

The rentals at Vacay in Pray are non-smoking, and we prohibit smoking anywhere inside the rentals.  In accordance with our insurance policy, this also prohibits the lighting of incense or candles of any sort in the house.  Smoking is allowed outside the rentals.  Please make sure to dispose of your cigarette butts appropriately.  Violation of smoking inside the rentals is warrant for expulsion without refund and financially responsible for all damages.

Deposit Policy

When making a reservation with us, a one night's deposit for the room you have selected is required. Reservations consisting of a week or more require a 50% reservation deposit. All deposits are secured via credit/debit card, and are released the day after check-out.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival are fully refundable.  A cancellation made within 14-30 days of arrival is eligible for a 50% refund. Any cancellations within 14 days of arrival are not eligible for refund. Guests will be responsible for any nights we are unable to re-book from the cancelled reservation.  Residual refunds or charges other than the paid deposit will be calculated after the date of the original scheduled departure date of the reservation.

Reservations have a 48-hour cancellation window before the cancellation fee is applied. Modifications to your reservation dates will be assessed based upon availability and ability to re-book changed dates.

Reservations made for more than a week may not be able to be refunded unless they are filled.  Any dates not filled by reservations will be kept from the refund.  Refunds will be delayed until after cancelled dates have passed. 

We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.

REFUND POLICY

We do our best to make sure you get a prompt refund. Refunds to credit cards will be credited to the same card used to make the reservation.

Damages & Lost Property

We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimize damage and associated costs. 

Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners, we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belongings before checking-out. We may offer to post lost items via recorded delivery at the cost of the property owner, otherwise collection can be arranged.

Here at Vacay in Pray, we always respect your information as confidential. The personal data you enter will be used solely for managing your reservation and to personalize our interactions with you. Your personal data will never be shared, transferred, or sold to third parties.
